Naif Alrashdi is a PhD candidate student in the Rehabilitation Science Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Majmaah University (MU), Saudi Arabia. He further received a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from Concordia University Wisconsin, United States. His prior experience involved working as a teaching assistant in the Physical Therapy Department at MU. He also practiced physical therapy, delivering rehabilitation to individuals with various musculoskeletal conditions (i.e., ACL, LBP, lower extremity impairments). Naif’s recent research has been nominated amongst the top 4 of Hip-Related research submissions by The Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (Spotlight on Hip Research; Combined Section Meeting, 2021). Currently, he is interested in examining Pre-and-Post Operative Physical Activity Levels and Rehabilitation-Specific Predictors (Muscle Performance and Movement Patterns) in individuals with Pre-Arthritic Hip Diseases, like Hip Dysplasia. In his spare time, Naif enjoys outdoor walking, camping, exploring new café places and restaurants, and socialize with his friends.
